Channelled Spirit: Where did the sense of Humanity go?

Outdoor meditation

A channelled message from Spirit, through one of Spirit writing students.

A Message for humanity

“The world is a challenging place. Life is full of distractions and challenges both to those who will listen and those who will not. Do not ignore your plight, step into the challenge and face your fears. Life is full of ups and downs, things seem right, and then they don’t. How to decide what is right for you. Nature calls for your attention, the nature around you – plants, trees, animal life and human life. Do not remain insular. Draw together, work as humanity.

Where did the sense of humanity go? Belonging, working together, rather than as disparate entities battling against each other; everyone for what they want without considering the needs of those around you and the world at large. Humanity needs to take responsibility for the way it is behaving. Time to end selfishness in favour of embracing one entire tribe. There is no separateness. There is a wholeness and completeness. A balance is possible but not if everyone works as a separate identity. Tribes work as a team, they consider their effect on the landscape, animal life, resources. The earth is a great treasure. Step out of your wants and desires, there is plenty there for everyone.

White Light? Is it the right light?

Prism

White light: the universal panacea of the spiritual movement. It can do all and everything! Well, maybe not.

Like many spiritual concepts and tools, it can get overused, misused or be lost in translation. Don’t get me wrong it should be in your spiritual and energetic toolbox but use it wisely.

Firstly, what is it? And here comes problem number one. Different people see it as different things. Hence the word universal in the opening line. Ask yourself what is it to you, do you even know? Are you, in fact, using it because someone else told you to.

For me, white light is a definite energy. It comes from and is part of the Spirit realm. Please note, the Spirit realm and the Universe are two different things. The Spirit realm is the plane of existence where your Soul comes from and will return to. It is pure energy, with no matter. This is where Spirit resides in pure conscious energetic form.

White light is the substance that binds them together, exists in space between them and is of them. Their collective energy if you like. It can be sent by them to assist us. Or we can call it in as we are part Spirit. White light is pure and clear.

We can use white light for healing, clearing, expanding or as part of the opening up process. As the prism shows, white light can be split into various colours. This is what it does when healing but in reverse, where it brings dis-harmonious energy back into alignment as one harmonious energy.

Common misuses of white light

1. Protection

I often come across people who are protecting themselves with white light. Surrounding their aura with it. However, the is not protective. In fact is can create the opposite effect. Negativity is attracted to the light, not repelled by it. A bit like a moth to the flame. If you want to use a coloured light for protection try dark blue. My favourite visualisation and the one I share with my clients and students is to imagine the outside of your aura as mirrored (think 1970’s Disco Ball). Negativity is reflected away from you by the mirror.

2. Grounding

Often students use white light when they are grounding – seeing their roots as white, or the energy of Mother Earth as white or indeed even bringing white light down from the Spirit through the crown chakra and then into the Earth. White light is weightless. When we use the word Light it is in both senses of the word – luminous and weight. Where white light is faster moving than we are it can, in fact, unground you rather than ground. I encourage my students to consider their base chakra also known as the root chakra – what colour is it? Red. It is called the root chakras as this is the where you ground from. Therefore, using the colour red for your roots and the energy of Mother Earth coming back into you is more grounding than white.

3. Crown Chakra

Another problem I find is that students don’t know the colours of the chakras. Many times they say their crown chakra is white. No, it is violet. When you envisage your crown chakra as white you are in effect over stimulating it which can lead to you being too open and struggling with clarity. If you look at the colours of the chakras there is a logical order – based around how colours merge – Red & Yellow makes Orange, Yellow & Blue makes Green, Blue & Violet makes dark blue – think back to the prism.

Some good uses for white light-

1. Washing through your aura

2. Washing through a chakra (or all of them)

3. Cleansing a space or object

4. Balancing your own energy (for instance you have too much physical energy or red energy and need to lighten up).

5. Cleansing and charging crystals

6. Lifting the mood in a room or space where it has got too heavy

White Light is a combination of all colours, as we see colour. Don’t forget all the other colours; they are equally useful and potent. Blue and Green are very healing and calming. Pink can help with giving and receiving love (especially for self). Yellow can strengthen your free will and confidence. Orange can assist with emotions and creativity. Violet is good for Spirit communication.

When cleaning your chakras using the colour associated with that chakra is often more suitable than using white. Remember white is very fast moving and can create expansion. Your chakra might need calming rather than stimulating. When grounding you might brown for your roots more soothing than red, especially if you are very connected to nature.

We live in a world of colour. So don’t be monochrome when working with Spirit and Spirituality. We are Spirit but we are also human and our body is physical matter. Physical matter resonates with colour. If we overuse white light we will run the risk of devaluing it or neutralising it. We can become complacent.

Keep white light in your toolbox along with all the other colours. Use your own instincts as to what colour to use. Ask your Spirit Guides or Soul if you are unsure. Then when you do use white light it will be all the more poignant.

Trance Mediumship: Breathe

Breathe

Sharing tips and information as a professional trance medium

I am often asked “what can I do to prepare for trance mediumship?”, many assume meditation is a good practice but actually, that is not often the case. A better place to start is with the breath. Spirit uses the breath as a conduit and support structure when they are blending with the medium. If the breath is short and shallow, the blending will be also. Learning how to breathe deeply using the diaphragm and the full capacity of your lungs will enable Spirit to blend deeper with you and stay longer.

A lot of the work now is channelling rather than trance as this is often easier for Spirit and the vessel but it does have its downsides. Trancework has less room for interference but also requires more training and dedication to the craft. No short cuts or instant options here. Preparation of self is vital and being one with your own body and breath is a great beginning.

Practising deep breathing will create a better place for Spirit as well as a more secure place for yourself as it centres you and creates calmness. Try to breathe in your through your nose and out through your mouth – this helps the trance work later on when Spirit try to speak.

Finally, deep breathing helps support your voice which is an essential part of trance mediumship.

Dharma Day

Buddha

Day celebrating the beginning of the Buddha’s teaching.

This day is celebrated by some Buddhists in commemoration of the Buddha’s first sermon. Some time after his enlightenment, the Buddha sought out his disciples to pass on his first teaching. This is also known as the First Wheel of Dharma. The word dharma translates as truth or ‘path to enlightenment’.

Dharma Day is seen a time for Buddhists to show their gratitude to the Buddha and other enlightened teachers who have shared their knowledge.

Today I will show my gratitude for Master Chou’s teachings, for me his wisdom is pure and crystal clear. It uplifts and bring light to those who speak to him or listen to his words. Chou balances his knowledge with humour and great care so that all can listen and understand. I am also fortunate to have a collective consciousness work with me know as The Oracle and their teaching is immense and very profound. Chou has had many lives on Earth and understands the challenges of human life, The Oracle has not so they provide a beautiful contrast to each other.

There are eight FREE podcasts made by Master Chou on my website – www.voicesofspirit.co.uk – that you can listen to. These are just brief explanations or insights into the topics.

If you are interested in more in-depth insight and information, check out our Downloads – these are recordings of the lectures Master Chou and The Oracle have given as well as conversations Chou has had on various topics. They are available for download for a small fee.

Your Choice

EXCITING NEWS !

A dear friend and student of mine has had a book published. What’s more Master Chou has written the foreword.

The book is called “Your Choice” and John has spent years researching and writing this book.

Your Choice‘ is the ultimate guide to help explore who we are, why we are here and why our lives’ play out the way they do. Energy and the quantum world are used to upgrade our understanding of what relationships (family, social and work), abundance of all kinds, leadership, personal development, health and happiness are really about.

"Your Choice" by John Leckie

I personally have great pleasure in mentioning this book as Master Chou helped John with his research; over the last few years they have had many long conversations about consciousness, the souls plan and quantum mechanics. Chou’s breadth and depth of knowledge sometimes even leaves me speechless and John really put him through his paces. Who knew that Chou knew anything about Spring Theory!

The book is available via The Book Depository click here to buy your copy.

Trance mediumship offers an opportunity to really test the limits and potential of Spirit Communication and what can be brought forward to help an individual or humanity; it is a precious gift.

History or His Story?

When viewing your life be careful of looking back to often. History is not always an accurate depiction of what occur; it is always coloured by the views, beliefs or agenda of the writer and rememberer. History is very much the authors own story of those events as your life is when you review the past. Each time you look backwards you see it differently, but not necessarily honestly.

Your past is simply that – PAST. What matters is the NOW and TOMORROW. Those are things you can shape by what you believe at this moment. Looking back distracts you, confuses you and can leave you stuck. However, looking forward can free you and enlighten you; of course it can also frighten you. Do not allow fear to stand in your way or make you look over your shoulder all the time. Looking ahead or looking inward are where the answers are.

Part of knowing your inner compass is understanding what direction is about. It is not there to judge you; it is merely there to indicate what you have achieved. Place yourself at the centre of the compass facing NORTH – South is then your past and everything you have learnt. North is your future and everything more you will learn and achieve. East & West represent different aspects of who you are at this moment; your balance between feminine & masculine, physical & spiritual and creative & logical.

Your past is going no where, your future is going everywhere. Be creative and work with your compass, explore the different directions if you wish but do so to know yourself not to judge yourself, there is a difference. Remember, if you are standing in the centre of your compass all directions are possible; however, if you are standing to far in any one direction – it is time to move.

Trance Mediumship: How we limit Spirit.

Being a trance medium means being a clear channel. But what does that actually mean, firstly energetically clearing as many blocks and issues as possible, of course over time you will resolve more and more, but initially personal development is required to clear yourself.

Secondly, looking at your beliefs and expectations. We all have them, and they get in the way. Personal development resolves physical, emotional or mental issues but spiritual growth is also required to raise your understanding of how it all works and why it exists. Many come to trance development with very set views and narrow thinking, and that then limits the work – remember “like attracts like”, if your thinking is narrow, so is that of the Spirit communicator who works with you. Broaden your mind and broaden the Spirit communication.

Beliefs are part of us, and you will all have some, I don’t mean to dismiss them, but instead, want to ask you to look at what they are and do they really serve you. Often we pick up beliefs from others and take them on board without really considering them or thinking of their impact on us. Know yourself, that’s what trance work needs. How can you move “yourself” out-of-the-way if you don’t know who you are? Personal and spiritual growth is part of developing as a trance medium.

Consider this, would you be happy for Spirit to speak through you and say something you disagree with? If not, are you a clear channel? What are the boundaries or limits on what you are comfortable with them saying? Those are the limits you put on Spirit. The more open we can be the more we allow Spirit to speak freely. Chou and I, do not agree on everything, but when we don’t I sit back and think about what he has said and why I disagree, this is how I grow, and that is the gift I receive for doing the work.

Being a clear channel requires an open mind. How open is yours?
